This banner is inspired by Jesus’ exhortation in John 5:30-47. He reprimands his followers’ easy belief in Moses’ writing (Exodus for example while they disbelieve the words of one much greater than Moses speaking to them now. While Moses delivered the Jews from Egypt, Christ is offering deliverance from sin and eternal life, paid for by his own suffering and death. Yet, few have ears to hear; most remain deaf as rocks.
