WALL TEXT
The parable of the unforgiving servant, found in the Gospel of Matthew (18:21-35), tells of a servant whose massive debt to a king was forgiven, but who then refused to forgive a smaller debt owed to him by a fellow servant. This led the king to become angry and have the servant imprisoned and tortured until he repaid his debt, illustrating the central message that God expects people to forgive others from the heart as they have been forgiven.
