New World Order

Here I borrowed the general pose of Masaccio's figures while refocusing the message of the original. In my generation there has been a lot of talk about a “new world order”—referring to anything from the “death of God” to the “age of Aquarius.” There is a new world order and it began when Adam and Eve were ushered out of paradise stumbling over a dog, killed to provide them with covering. The new order is one where all are subject to death because of sin entering the world.
