Joshua Holding Moses

This image is meant to be an icon of “community” and how it works in God’s economy. The battle went well as long as Joshua helped to support the raised arms of Moses. Independence and autonomy are not highly valued but working together is.  Ecclesiastes 4:12 also comes to mind: And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
