“The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.” (Isaiah 11:8, NIV)
Chapter 11 of Isaiah describes the future coming of the Messiah and His Kingdom, where even creation will be redeemed. Predators and prey coexist, and children interact safely with once-dangerous animals. Many of these images are hard to imagine, but benefit from visual illustration, as I have attempted above.
