WALL TEXT
This banner was done after a visit to Assisi where St Francis was born. It references the story of the rich young man in Matthew 19 who “went away sad because he had many possessions.” One snowy day, as the story goes, St. Francis, the son of a rich man and quite a rabble-rouser in his youth, abandoned all his wealth and worldly possessions, down to the clothes on his back, to follow Christ…and the camel did indeed jump thru the eye of a needle as Jesus had predicted.
