John 20:5-7 “and he stooped to look in, and saw the linen wrappings lying there; however, he did not go in. So Simon Peter also came, following him, and he entered the tomb; and he looked at the linen wrappings lying there, and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings but folded up in a place by itself.”
This is a romanticized version of the resurrection (from John 20:5-7) using light as the major theme and metaphor. The now-empty tomb, with only the linen wrappings, points toward Christ in the distance, greeting a new day and a new world.
